All baby teeth should be gone and all second molars present.

Can I go to any dentist to be treated with Invisalign?

Only Invisalign certified providers can offer this service.

I am currently wearing braces. Can I make the switch to Invisalign?

You could, but there likely would not be a price break in any way. If money is no object, then it should not be a problem.

Who should consider using Invisalign?

anyone desiring straight teeth.

What can be expected at my first Invisalign visit?

The first visit is generally an exam to determine if it would work for you, as not all cases are good invisalign choices. If there is a "green light " and time permits, then photos, xrays and impressions can be taken.

Is Invisalign approved by the proper dental and governmental agencies?

yes

How much does Invisalign cost?

Fees vary from city to city and state to state. They can range from $4000 to $8000.

After impressions of teeth are taken, they are sent to the Align lab to be digitally rendered. After CAD/CAM processes, the full set of aligners are sent to the dentist for distribution.

Is this a new way to straighten teeth?

The concept has been around for decades, but has always been done by hand. This was labor intensive and unpredictable. With CAD/CAM the process has been around for over 10 years and continually upgraded.

What are the primary benefits of Invisalign?

Since the aligners are clear, they are nearly invisible.

Are bridges a factor in Invisalign treatment?

Bridges must be known, but would not prohibit treatment

How often will I have to wear my aligners?

Aligners should be worn all day, every day. Forever.

How long does Invisalign treatment take?

The average Invisalign case is 11 months, but can be shorter or much longer.

Are there certain dental conditions that automatically exclude someone from being an eligible patient?

Active gum disease that is not being treated and controlled would exclude treatment
