1. Can I go to any orthodontist or dentist to be treated with Invisalign?

No. Only Invisalign trained dentists and orthodontists can treat patients using Invisalign. All dentists interested in treating patients with Invisalign must attend and complete specialized instructional sessions to become trained Invisalign providers. In addition, doctors must maintain regular treatment submission and have complete ongoing clinical training classes to earn the designation "Preferred Provider."

Yes. Invisalign Preferred Provider dentist and orthodontists have achieved a level of clinical training and experience in treating patients with the Invisalign system. In addition, some doctors have distinguished


3. Are there restrictions on what I can eat while during the processof treatment?

No. The aligners should be removed for eating and drinking. So, unlike undergoing traditional treatment using wires and brackets, there is no need to restrict your consumption of any of your favorite foods and snacks unless instructed otherwise by your doctor. Also, it is important that you brush your teeth after each meal and prior to re-inserting your aligners to maintain fresh breath and proper hygiene.


4. Will smoking stain the aligners?

Smoking will stain the aligners. We always recommend quitting smoking and offer guidance for those interested in quitting smoking.


5. Can I chew gum while wearing aligners?

We do not recommend chewing gum while wearing aligners. If you wish to chew gum, we recommend removing the aligners and using chewing gum with Xylitol sweetener.


6. What' s the best way to clean my aligners?

It is best to clean aligners by removing them from the mouth and cleaning them with the Invisalign cleaning kit or with a toothbrush and fragrance free soap. In addition, the aligners can be soaked in water with denture cleaning tablets weekly.
